Dinesh Sitaula has won the presidency in the 'Film
Journalist Association, Nepal' election held in Kathmandu on Monday. He was
victorious by a total of 70 votes while his opponent Dabu Chhetri won with 39
votes, Geeta Adhikari and Anil Yadav with 14 -14 votes.
Jeevan Parajuli won the Vice President's program. In the
vice-president's organization, Deepu Jyoti Thapa was elected unopposed in the
post of vice-president while Kuvere Dangol won unopposed.
Sameer Balami was elected for the post of general secretary
with 88 votes. Secretary Raghunath Sapkota was elected unopposed and secretary
Vishal Rai was elected unopposed. Similarly, Pradeep Karki was elected
unopposed as the Treasurer of the Union while Vinod Pokhrel was elected as
Vice-Treasurer.
Ganesh Oli (Ashish), Srishti Pokhrel, Milan Dhunana, Naveen
Giri, Manish Dahal 'Anjan', Gopi Krishna Chapangai were victorious among the
members of Nepal Film Journalists Association. Likewise, Deepak Gurung has been
elected unopposed for the security of women and Deepak Gurung for inclusion.
